Wow – it’s February already, 2015 is going very quickly. After a Christmas and New Year break the Humans are out and about again. This weekend is definitely all about the WordCamps and meetups for Human Made.
In the UK it’s WordCamp Birmingham. Human Made are a silver sponsor and there will be a good contingent of Humans at the event including Tom, Matt, Rob and Paul; so come along and say hello to us.
Over in Oslo it is WordCamp Norway organised by our very own Scott, who has been working really hard to pull everything together for another great event. We have an amazing showing in the speaker line-up this year. Noel is presenting on The Future or WordPress, Franz is speaking about How not to give appalling user support and Jenny is talking about contributing to WordPress in her presentation, Every Penny counts.
We’ve also been getting involved at a local level. Matt is now a co-organiser for the WordPress Leeds meetup, successfully running his first event last week, Franz made his WordPress speaking debut at WordPress London meetup and Jane is presenting at the WordPress Sheffield meetup next Tuesday.
It’s not just all WordCamps and WordPress; there is a lot of cross over between different development communities. Jenny will be speaking around this topic at PHP UK conference with a presentation on Integrating Communities.
The Humans will also be off to WordCamp London in March – more to follow on that one.
