WCEU is nearly here! HM Account Director EMEA Ant Miller is a familiar face at WordCamps big and small, and he’ll be on the ground in Turin this June with the Human Made crew. Here are the talks he’s recommending to his beloved clients and friends – be sure to get them added to your calendar!
With WCEU just around the corner, and the schedule recently published, I’ve been taking a look at the line up and highlighting for our team and clients the talks that really stand out. It’s a tough job – once again the standard of speakers at WCEU looks to be top class.
However, based on the technical and design trends, as well as key business issues in the industry, the following talks are ones we’re really looking forward to seeing in person, or for those of us not on site, catching on the live stream. We’ll be at Turin in strength this year (almost 20 members of the HM team are attending), and I’m sure there will be many more interesting talks and conversations in addition to these – look out for our posts and tweets and updates from the event itself, and of course our write ups afterwards. And if you’re going to be there, see you there!
Sustainability
Juliette and Joost’s opening WCEU keynote focussing on sustainability is of high interest among many enterprise clients – no surprises there, it’s a hot button topic for many of us right now.
With the session promising to “have an honest talk about open source and more specifically, about how to make open source software projects sustainable in the long run”, it’s definitely one you won’t want to miss.
