We attend lots of tech related conferences as you can see from our Community page, but recently we’ve been expanding our conference horizons in a totally different direction. Happytables, our all-in-one restaurant website solution, has been growing in popularity and this week we’ve been attending some events that have given us the opportunity to further raise the Happytables profile.
Tom, Noel and Franz attended the Bookatable Restaurant Academy on behalf of Happytables. They were in excellent company; the event was sponsored by Google and Michelin. Noel gave a presentation on “the rules of the web have changed, are you embracing them?”. He presented in person, unlike the secretive Michelin chief restaurant inspector who had to remain anonymous throughout her speech. The event was attended by top restaurateurs in the industry and was a brilliant opportunity to meet people and gain some insight into this sector.
Franz has also been getting out and about on behalf of Happy tables attending the Takeaway Expo at Olympia. He’s been fact finding, making contacts and generally spreading the word amongst the takeaway sector of the restaurant industry.
Promoting Happytables and getting to try lots of yummy food – what could be better?
