We couldn’t be more thrilled to be attending the very first WordCamp Asia! Taking place 17-19th February 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand, here’s who you’ll be hearing from during what promises to be an action-packed few days.
KAdam White
Principal Engineer, Human Made
KAdam White started using WordPress in 2007, and stumbled upon his first WordCamp in 2011. He was heavily involved in the REST API project, and after the API was merged into WordPress core, KAdam led the development of the REST API component until 2020. He is a WordPress core committer, and leads projects for enterprise clients in America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific as Principal Engineer at Human Made.
Siobhan McKeown
COO, Human Made
Siobhan has hired many different roles in Asia, making her perfectly placed to share what recruiters are looking for. She will talk from experience about what stood out to her, why someone got the job, or why they stalled at the first stages.
She’ll speak to her peers at different companies so that attendees get a broad range of insight from different WP companies, and will share insight about what it’s like to go through a recruitment process in a remote WordPress company.
Siobhan has been involved with WP for over a decade: she used to lead the WP docs team, wrote a book about the history of the WP project, and is one of the co-founders of WordCamp Europe.
Petya Raykovska
Director of Agency Operations, Human Made
In her 15+ years of experience in the software development industry, Petya has held roles in product marketing and event management, enterprise media, product development, business operations, project management, and resource management.
Petya has volunteered, lead, and enabled global open source communities, one of which, the WordPress Polyglots, played a key role in developing their passion for breaking the boundaries of cross-cultural communication.
