Established in 2014, the BigWP meetup in London is back on December 7th with an event that dives deep into the immediate future of WordPress, as well as other exciting projects that have recently emerged in WordPress and enterprise.
Gutenberg is coming
WordPress is transitioning from the traditional TinyMCE editor—which hasn’t been changed in several years—to Gutenberg. And the new editor is being developed with one goal in mind: to make adding rich media content to WordPress simple and intuitive. But how it will affect our current publishing workflows and impact our businesses?
This will be a great opportunity for agencies and enterprises to hear about Gutenberg directly from the design lead, Tammie Lister. Tammie will guide you through Gutenberg’s major features, focus on its current state, and introduce what’s to come.
The Full Schedule
Doors will open at 6 PM. From 6:30 PM to approximately 8 PM:
– Diving into Gutenberg by Tammie Lister
– Rebuilding Liveblog by Jason Agnew
– A New Digital Culture of Creation at Capgemini by Parker Ward
– WordPress on the Lions Rugby Tour by Dan Drave
Each speaker will present for 15 minutes and take questions for 5 minutes afterwards.
