Joeleen Kennedy
Senior Web Engineer
Joeleen has been working with WordPress since 2008, using it for universities, small businesses, non-profits, and enterprise clients. She’s excited to combine new technologies with proven web foundations to showcase WordPress’s capabilities. She has a background in design and fine arts and uses those skills to bring beauty to the projects she touches.
Before joining Human Made, Joeleen was a Concierge WordPress Engineer for Pressable, working on projects for Automattic’s Special Projects team. She’s previously been a freelancer and held a variety of other positions, including leading the front end team at an agency in the DC area. She currently lives near Raleigh, NC where she hoards fancy yarn, sometimes knits things with it, bakes sourdough, obsesses over chocolate, and has adventures with her family.
